Stained Glass Workshops
Our one-day stained glass workshops are suitable for complete beginners but can be tailored to cater for the more advanced student.
Jody will guide you through every stage of the process to create your individual stained glass panel to take home at the end of the day.
What to Expect
All tools, materials and glass will be provided, and we'll bring plenty of patterns for you to work from.
During the morning we cover the basics of how to cut and shape glass, how to apply and work with copper foil and lead came, and how to design patterns for stained glass. After learning the basics we go on to working with a large selection of coloured and textured glass, using cutters, grinders, cement and soldering equipment to create unique individual stained glass panels to take home at the end of the day.
Lunch is not provided, but complimentary hot drinks, biscuits and homemade cake are included.
Please note closed-toe shoes are required. Make sure to bring an extra warm layer in winter, as village halls can be a bit draughty!
